I'd appreciate some advice on what program will handle this.
I have 15 DVDs, each with about 3 Episodes of a series. For space reasons, I don't want the extras. Each episode also has an introduction in the first chapter of the PGC where the author introduces and discusses the episode. I really dislike that and want it cut off. I just want the episode to start and I want them separated. Currently I do this:
DVDecrypt - select the the PGC for the episode and uncheck the 1st Chapter. I do this for each episode, saving the resulting IFO and VOB to a directory. Then I use AutoGK to convert. The DVDecrypt step of making all the separate selections, running, then coming back 10 minutes later, doing it again, etc. takes a lot of time. The AutoGK step works well because I can set up the jobs as a batch.
Is there a tool that will let me do this in one setup as a batch? It's the unchecking of the first chapter for each job that's the problem. I can't find any way to do that in AutoGK. Will the underlying Virtualdub allow this?
Thanks

The only way I can think of is to use DVDDecrypter via commandline and setting file-splitting to "by chapter", and then getting rid of (deleting) the file for the first chapter for each ep. However you'd be left with the remaining chapters of each ep as seperate files, so you would have to then find a way to join these before feeding into autogk.
If in doubt, Google it.
