I'm trying to burn a few more videos to dvd and having problems no matter the software used to burn. I keep getting Audio stream issues by programs. Or access violation to the avcodec.dll in convertxtodvd. I think that the audio might be at the wrong frequency. What is the best way to recode it be 48000hz? According to the info from convertxtodvd its 24000hz which could easily be the problem. Thanks again guys.

load the audio into an audio editor/encoder and change it. see tools section on the left. besweet should work, if you want to try a free one.

Virtuadub 1.3 won't load my files. How do I either break apart the mkv format videos to recode the audio or recode them together?

Still not working right. MVK extract breaks the audio into aac and I can't find a program to convert it to ac3 48000hz and some of the programs that i can find that can put it into like mp3 compress it from 21mins to about 13-15mins.
