hello,
i was wondering what program i could use to convert an asx video file that i have on my computer, to a different video format?
if it is not possible, maybe a video capturing tool that will capture the video, and the audio of a 58 second video clip and have it at the same quality etc...
all help appreciated thanks!

asx is just a text file with direct link to streaming asf or wmv file. You can use it either in your player to watch video from the web or to download video e.g. with NetTransport (it automatically parses the link from asx). You can also view/copy the link by opening asx in Notepad.
