Hi all. I just used super for the first time converting a wmv to an avi and the new avi is too fast. So what happend? I just used the default setting of super like:
avi out, h264 encoder, mp3 out, no change in video scale, no selection for aspect, 25fps, 1008 bitrate, etc...

Too fast ? video and audio sync problem? or how?
Try convert to xvid/divx and see if you notice any difference. The h264 encoding / playing may be bit buggy. -
Hi Baldrick. I mean the video is too fast. Thanks. I will mess with it again see what happen. Thanks.

As Baldrick mentioned, it could be a framerate issue - SUPER usually assigns whatever framerate is selected in the profile, whether or not it matches the input video. Another method you can use to check the frame rate of the input video is to double-click on it in SUPER's jobs list. That should pop up an information window about the video (you may have to click on the advanced description button to get the frame rate information; I don't have a system with SUPER on it at the moment to check against WMVs and other videos). Make sure the frame rate for the output video is the same as the original video.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
Thank you all. I tried Gspot but it doesn't show any info then I dl avicodec and it shows this:
File: 44 MB (44 MB), duration: 0:05:00, type: ASF, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 43 %
Video: 42 MB, 1185 Kbps, 19.266 fps, 846*480 (16:9), WMV3 = Windows Media Video 9, Supported
Audio : 1.71 MB, 48 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 1 channels, 0x161 = Windows Media Audio 9.1, Supported
So how do I select that fps in Super???? -
SUPER doesn't support 'non-standard' framerates at the moment (their words, if I remember correctly). You can try one of the closest rate settings, if you're sure that's the correct frame rate, which I think would be either 23.98 or 15, and see if that generates a suitable file.
What does Media Player say about the frame rate of the original video, under View > Statistics, in the Advanced tab? Just curious. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
