MacTheRipper to one VOB to PSP?

I have tried searching these forums but have not found the answer I am looking for yet. I'm sure the learned members of this forum will be able to help me though.

I have ripped a DVD with MacTheRipper. I now have a folder full of different VOB files. Now I want to convert them to PSP format. I have ffmpegX which is fine but MTR splits the DVD into many VOBs. This means is I end up with my film split over lots of different files on the PSP which is a pain.

Is there a way I can get MacTheRipper to rip the DVD into one VOB file like DVD Decrypter can? I like MacTheRipper because it will make region free copies (and I have DVDs from different regions as I recently migrated) and as I understand it it DVD Decrypter can't do that and there is no OS X version.

With MacTheRipper i don't know, since i'm new to the Mac world, but you should try Instant HandBrake .

Drop the VIDEO_TS folder MTR gave you into the green "From" box in ffmpegX. Set the "To" format and proceed with the other tabs to set the parameters.

Please note that I am not positive that you may transcode directly from VIDEO_TS to PSP; you may have to transcode to DivX first and then go from DivX to PSP. IIRC, I need to do something similar to this when I go from VIDEO_TS to iPod H264.

MTR will do that if you have a region free drive. If you have a Matshita drive in your Mac, your out of luck unless you get an external drive and flash it region free. Matshita will only read and burn the region it is set to by playing a DVD in it. You do have up to 5 changes but the last one is the final one.
