Hey guys. Here's an issue that I'm having and I'm sure someothers are having the same issue. I've been able to rip movies with mactheripper and convert them to PSP mp4's. As soon as I found the formula, I've been sticking with it. But now, Transformers isn't converting right. I use the basic set up on mactheripper. i would rip the movie only, convert to .vob file, and use the basic h.264 psp set up, only change the sound to 128, then convert to mp4. but for some reason, Transformers isn't working. Even when i try to convert it to mp4 for the ipod. can anyone help? please?

new to this forum, so i should mention that I actually bought and own Transformers from Target.

What version of MTR do you have? It was pointed out to me shortly after my first post here that 2.6.6 (latest free release) doesn't cut it for many new movies - you need 3.014f (I believe it's the latest one), which you need to donate to get. I recommend it - it's not terribly expensive to get via donation (about $15).

3.0.14g is the newest, via Donation only, and has the new registered
( think dial home) feature. I told you this would be coming,
STF. Too many people wanting free, and not paying for it.
    (end of soapbox)

And yes, it handles Transformers fine, I bought the two disc
at Wal-Mart ( the animated prequel is worth it over the Michael Bay
"extras" IMHO) and .14g will do what you ( the OP) is trying to accomplish.

You also might want to consider using HandBrake and going straight from the DVD to .mp4 instead of the extra step of ripping the disc itself to the hard drive. It handled Transformers fine for me.

Never hurts...new versions of ffmpegx and MTR were made to handle
newer problems..err on the side of caution and keep them up to date.
