hi all...my first time here and hoping someone will help me out...

i am trying to convert avi files into DVD. I have tried without success different softwares including NERO 7, AVI video converter(http://www.allformp3.com/winmpg-video-converter/), and santaDVD(http://www.dvdsanta.com/).

Everything seem to go find but the final product is without sound.

What I am doing wrong? Any ideas? Any software you can suggest?

    Thank you in advance.

    Ozzy.

Load the file into Gspot and post the screenshot.

The source has VBR MP3 - this might be the cause of your problems.

Can you also post a g-spot screenshot of the VOB produced by any of the many crap programs you have tried (sorry, but that is a pretty poor line up).

I would also suggest you try ConvertXtoDVD, which usually handles VBR MP3 fairly well, or learn to manually convert and replace the MP3 with uncompressed wav before encoding.

    guns1inger,
It worked great! Thank you for suggesting it.
I installed ConvertXtoDVD you suggested and its words great!
I worked mainly with .avi file format, do you know what other format it takes?

    Thanks again.
