Here is the whole story. I have just bought a Panasonic DVD player with DiVx format. I have this movie in avi format and its respective *srt file. I use Submux to join subs to movie, and I can see subtitles on PC no problems, but when playing the same output file on my Panasonic dvd player, there is simply NO sound only video. Any ideas??? also when checking the audio properties of the submux output file, they are not available.
I have 3 nights trying to fix this problem and no go...can someone help me?

Does the audio work if you don't use submux?
But I don't think submuxed avis are supported by divx dvd players, try instead make .divx with muxed subtitles using avisub, sub2divx. Or it's usually enough to just put the avi and srt in same folder with same names like video.avi and video.srt and the divx player will find the subs.
