why does WINDV split DV into multiple avi's??

I am using windv and when i capture a DV tape to the HD its spliting the tape into seperate small avi files based on when i stopped recording. I checked the little box next to config and I made the frames 100000 and it still does this. how can i get the dv into 1 big 13 gig avi file?

set discontinuity threshold to 0 and max frames to 1,000,000.

ok i will try that, I forgot a zero, i did set frames to 1,000,000 !!
