Can't get any joy in set up and record of vhs to dvd ('one touch protocol'), I am using an old Sony VCR with Scart adaptor incorporating 2 audio input (r/l) and Video) connected to Line 1 TV on the VCR and linked up to respective a/v inputs on the LG GSA 5169d.
I have followed 'one touch' and advanced instructions butnothing is happening on PC screen.
Am I missing something? is my VCR combination wrong/too old/etc

    Thanks in advance

I assume you are trying to perform what is covered here: http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Reviews/Specific.aspx?ArticleId=16750&PageId=17

I don't know how your VCR is labeled. But basically, you just need the audio/video output from the VCR directly into the inputs of the LG.
