I recently purchased a PixelView Play TV Pro 2 and tried using it to capture video from the PS2 using the composite and s-video leads. I get these strange vertical lines which don't seem to go away no matter how much tweaking around I do with format settings as well as post-capturing encoding. I installed the btwincap drivers and they did reduce the lines a bit, but it still looks like this:
some help would be appreciated as to what I can do. Btw, I use both Virtual Dub and the Card's packaged software for capturing, same results.

It looks like you are encountering some electric interference... Do these lines move? It's possible that your computer introduces the lines in the signal, because some electricity leaks away through your computer case. Try to ground your PC, and see if it helps. You could also try to add a ferrite ring to the cables you use, in case the ps2/pc setup gets other interference, or acts like an antenna.
