  1. Hi, guys.
I am a new one here and I need your help.
I want to buy a TV card to record TV programs. I had bought a pv951 card which was made by a Taiwan company, but the quality is too bad. The video clip I captured is like slow motion, and the video signal is two times longer than the audio signal.
I want to buy a ATi TV-Wonder or a Pinnacle Studio PCTV now. Anyone has some advice?
Is there any differences between TV-Wonder and All-In-Wonder Radeon when I capture video frome CATV?

    My computer:
    AtholonTB 1G;256MB pc-133;IBM60G;sis735

    Thanks.

  2. I have both an ATI TV Wonder VE (Value Edition), and the Pinnacle PCTV Pro. I don't have the All-in-wonder card, so I can't give you the perfect comparison, but I tell you what a I know...

The ATI is missing the hardware mpeg encoder that the non-VE comes with. Also, the VE is not stereo and does not have an S-video input. The ATI software has been buggy and locks up often.

The Pinnacle has stereo TV, S-video input, and even a remote. Also, the software has been rock solid. I like the Pinnacle card best.
