I am currently having trouble burning a project onto DVD, this is the first time I believe I have had to use multiple tracks for audio. Anyway, when I am finished with my project I go directly to File > Export > To DVD and I have used:
Custom Settings:
NTSC, 720x480, 29.97 non-drop frame [fps], Lower, Quality 5.0
192 [kbps], 48 kHz, 16 bit, Stereo, MPEG
VBR, 2 Pass, Min 1.50, Target 4.00, Max 7.00 [Mbps]
NTSC DV 16:9 High Quality 4Mb VBR 2 Pass:
NTSC, 720x480, 29.97 non-drop frame [fps], Lower, Quality 5.0
48 kHz, 16 bit, PCM
VBR, 2 Pass, Min 1.50, Target 4.00, Max 7.00 [Mbps]
When I burn my project I have perfect video but no audio, I do not know if this is a DVD multiplexing issue, if it is I do not have an option to change it unless I go into Adobe Media Encoder and run through it there, however I do not know what to use at that point to get both audio & video back onto a disc.
If anyone has a solution, idea, or similar problem I would appreciate any advice or comments. Thank you.

No audio at all from any player I put it in
DVD "VOB" format
MPEG-2 Program Stream << { 1 vid, 1 aud, 1 other }
Sys Bitrate: 10080 kb/s VBR
DVD_LPCM_AUDIO Codec(s) Installed
Is this what you need?
I ran the MS A/V test and I do hear sound, what setting do I have wrong for DVD Players?Dylan "Immoral Neo" Harrelson -
Uncompressed PCM, apart from being a space hog (which is probably why you have such a low video bitrate), is about as universal as it gets. It might help if you post a screenshot from g-spot, but the LPCM audio reference seems to confirm your settings were used.
If you use Media Encoder and encode to AC3 for audio, you will be able tio use a higher bitrate for your video. Won't (probably) solve your audio problem, but will improve the video quality.
You can use the free GUIforDVDAuthor to bring the audio and video back together again.
When you say player, do you mean software player, or standalone player ? Have you burned this to a disc and played it elsewhere ?Read my blog here.

Hey, interesting this, look at my post "sound missing from DVD", i did a gspot run on my compilation and had the same result.
{ 1 vid, 1 aud, 1 other } Duchess kindly suggested that the "other" might be the problem as he feels that there should be nothing in there. I am about to demux back to mpeg to re encode but before this i would like to know if this "other" is common..
Sorry about butting in but the post could prove to have the same answer...Hmmm, time to kick ass and chew bubble gum....But am all outa gum. -
Actually, strangely enough I burned another DVD with PCM audio immediately after a reboot and it worked. I don't know what would cause audio not to burn but nevertheless I got it to work.
