    I have (2) avi's which are 150 Meg and 125 meg..

I converted both to MPG format, using Ulead DVD Movie Factory (v. )

File 1 ends up 435 Meg, and file 2 ends up 345 Meg..

I sed Easy CD Creator 5 (Video CD Creator) to combine both files and end up with a VCD CD..

    The problem is:

The final product is 785 Meg.. and my CD can only hold 700 Meg Maximum...

    PLease help..

What can I do to change this..?

It seems that my best option would be to make the origianl MPG files smaller... then, when it is converted, the finished product would be smaller...

But, I Cannot find an option to do that change..

    Someone Please Help...!!!

    Thanks

  2. An 80min CDR can hold 700MB of mode1 (ie. computer data) or 800MB of mode2 (no error correction) data. You burn x(S)VCDs in mode2 so you can store 740MB on a 74min CDR, and 800MB on an 80min CDR.

You can easy fit a 785MB MPEG on a 80min CDR. What program are you using to burn the MPEG? Freeware wise I'd recommend either TSCV (www.ttool.org) or VCDEasy (www.doom9.org) both are GUIs to burn w/ CDRDAO, but also have authoring features.

I am unsind Easy CD Creator 5 (VCD Creator) to burn CD..

I have download VCD Easy(V1.07).The title is wrong .. It is NOT very easy.. too much "tech" choices..
I went to this site's section on DVD players.. and found mine..
    Aiwa XD-DV370
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdlist/5.html

According to that info, I cannot play (S)VCD's, but I can play X-VCD's..

    XVCD
    1150kbits

Can you help me how to set that up with VCD Easy (v1.07)?
(Also, please tell me how to set MODE 2), or is that a SVCD feature.. which I cannot use..?

    Thanks..
