Do you guys know any software, like the "windows movie maker", except for avi files, that we can just say in what size we may want a / the new movie, and it adjusts all the others parameters for us?

Ok. I have another question. Do you have experience with the youtube? I mean, have you ever upploaded some things to there? I mean divx/xvid avis to there? If so, what about the result? There have been any sincronization problem? Video x Audio? I heard that this occurs, but I didn't try yet.

Yes, what is mpg4? Divx and xvid are mpeg4 formats and they can be stored in an avi file.

  11. .mp4 is a container

mpeg4 part 2 is a wide standard encompassing xvid, divx and others

mpeg4 part 3 is audio AAC

mpeg4 part 10 is AVC video compression

    mpeg4 part 14 is the mp4 container

which do you mean? What do you want to convert (input) to what (output) container and codec? for TV? for xbox? for PC?

It's because that I saw at the youtube site that we could get better youtube videos if we would upload mpg4 videos, or in mpg4 format, I don't remember.
