I am now using a MacBook and found I can't convert rmvb to others format due to unknown reason.

After I'd searched, I want to know if it is my problems only or it is not working?
I found the version of reallib is a little bit old and I suppose it would not be a UB library.

    Any idea?

There is an MacOS X x86 version of the reallib on the mplayer website. As I don't own an Intel based Mac, I don't know if they will work with ffmpegX or if they include all the needed codecs, but it worth the try.

Note that it's probaly an install package. It will install a "codecs" folder in /usr/local/lib. Rename this folder to "reallib" and try to put it in the /Library/Appplication Support/ffmpegx folder.
