Hi, I'm using Aodbe Premiere Pro 2 to edit a HDV m2t file captured from a Sony HC3 camcorder. So I established the In and Out points and then for that selection I go to File/Export/Movie/Settings/File Type/Bitmap and generate the bmp's from the selected clip. Problem is that the bitmap images generated are all out of proportion (they are horizontally compressed). I tried different settings in the Video Export Movie Settings (it's set to 1440h 1080v 16:9 HD Anamorphic 1080 (1.3333)) but they all render the same distorted bitmaps. How can I fix this? Thanks.

they are horizontally compressed
That probably means the app is using a field from the interlaced source.
I don't know the app well enough to tell you how to fix it, although a workaround might be to open the file with DGindex and snapshot BMPs from it. MpegStreamClip will also allow you to do the same, plus it offers deinterlacing, but saves the clip in .TIFF format.
