    Hey everyone,

I have an ATI TV Tuner USB 2.0 and am trying to capture a VHS onto my computer. But everytime I try to capture a VHS tape or a DVD, the video always gets stuck on the first frame. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It works fine on my Dish receiver, but it will not work on anything else. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are trying to capture a Hollywood VHS, then it is probably Macrovision Protection.

    Hey,

Thanks. I didn't know VHS had protection. Is there any way to remove it. I own the VHS, and I would like to have it on my Zen Vision M.

Here is a link for you ---> CLICK HERE

I don't have this unit but it is fairly inexpensive and from what I have read it will defeat copy protection from most VHS vidoes although there are a few it does seem to have trouble with but it doesn't seem like many.

  8. Here's the one I use for protected VHS captures. It's essentially the same unit as above, but about $10 cheaper...

  9. I have one of this. It works very well and the 9V battery last forever.
