    I'm looking for some noise cancelling headphones, but not the normal type. I don't want to listen to any music with them, I just want them to cover my ears and block out as much noise as possible no matter what volume it is. I've seen them in testing centers; they use them there to help test takers be able to test in a quiet environment. Does anyone know what these are called? Whenever I look for just "noise cancelling headphones" I only get the ones that you use to listen to listen to music and are thus more expensive. Any help finding something like this would be greatly appreciated.

    My industrial supply catalog refers to them as "ear muffs." I'd search on "hearing protection." Industrial Safety dealers will have them.
