do i have to convert every time i do this, i want to go simply to dvd without losing any quality.
never really understood the whole converting thing process. i usually burn in neros vision xpress and that always does the whole conversion thing before burning.

AVI to DVD - you HAVE to convert, unless you just want to burn them to a DVD data disc of course. As for MPEG, it depends, are they DVD compliant files?

If you have a divx certified player, and if your files are compliant with it, then you can just burn them to a data dsic and play them.

Or you can learn how to convert properly (NeroVision is not doing it properly) in order to maintain the highest quality you can.

Getting a better player is the easiest option.
