    The subject is the message I get when extracting a DVD with MTR and trimming it to around 4.37 gb with DVD2oneX. I have backed up many discs in this way, and this problem occured only twice. The message appears both in my Mac and in my multi-region DVD player, which makes me think that it is not merely a region problem. Any ideas ? Thanks !

    There are few region 1 discs that are only playable in region 1 player but I forgot the name of protection (RCE if I am not mistaken). The Patriot is one of them. Try to use DVDFab Decrypter to strip all Disc protection!

    Oh but it is an .exe app...is there a Mac app for this ? Or, could I have set something wrong in MTR (which I thought would remove all barriers) ?
