hi. i bought a new compaq presario about 2 months ago. its pretty fast and good for vcd capturing and editing. but the burning software that came with it (adaptec easy cd creator 4.02) doesn't have the ability to burn vcd's. so i installed nero 4.0 from my old computer and it worked fine for a while. but recently i have noticed that it has been slow and has had some buffer under-run problems. i have heard that you shouldn't install more than one cd burning software or that problem can arise. i called compaq to ask about easy cd creator, and they said that my computer came with a "trial" software. there is no limitations to how many data or audio cds you can burn, but it won't allow you to burn vcds. they said if i want to burn vcds, i would have to go and buy the full version which is like $100, and i dont want to spend that much. does anyone know of any GOOD burning software that you can downlaod for free, or does anyone have a full copy of adaptec easy cd creator that i could borrow????

    thanks
