I use this forum for info almost everyday, lots of info and can usually get answers from searching.
But sometimes i cannot, this is one of them.
I npw need help with bin. cue. files. The jpg. below was the the easyest way to get you what im doing without tring to explain it (im a lousy typer)

Also the files you see were from a bit torrent site i payed to use, i was told that this is not illegal or is a copyright infringment.

    See below:
A is what i guess is a simple 1 bin. file 1 cue. using Toast 7 copy tab with bin./cue. selected i selected the bin file and proceeded to do a burn.
B is the result 4 empty folders.

Now C looks a lot more difficult. what do i do with all the files?

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning.
If you've been using this every day, you should know that warez is not allowed here.

  2. With regard to C, you can either play the FLAC files with Cog, burn them as audio with Toast 7 (no prior decompression required) or decompress them with xACT, Max, XLD or Toast 7 to the format of your choice. The CUE file in this case is of absolutely no use whatsoever under OS X.

That said, if these files ("A" at least) do not represent copyright infringement, I'll run naked through the streets of London.

Download VLC (http://www.videolan.org/). Then drag the .bin file into VLC. Does it play? If so, then it's a valid .bin file. If it doesn't, it's corrupt or empty.

To burn it in Toast, you have to select the bin/cue option. Then drag the "cue" file into the Toast window. Toast will automatically add the .bin file. Then burn it.

Off-topic: why did you pay to use a Bittorrent site? There are dozens of excellent free Bittorrent sites. I hope you didn't pay much.

    Hi Mildew
I did exactly the way you did, the only difference is i i dropped the bin file onto toast instead of the cue file.
Toast said the bin/cue files added up to a 699 megs. but as you look at the finished CD all i wound up with was the 4 empty folders (B).

Does the .bin file play in VLC?
