  1. Does anybody know of any similar web site or forum that discuss audio editing and burning? I am having trouble burning some mp3 files as audio CD, but not sure where to look for help.

What's your setup? (system, applications used, mp3 file specs)

You actually shouldn't have any trouble with CDRWIN. It takes mp3's as source files for AudioCD burning, and it's freeware/shareware.

Not an option if yoyu want an Audio CD., like the OP.
Convert to wav (CDEx among other apps), burn wav as AudioCD (almost all CD burner apps do that - CD Burner XP Pro is good & free).

  5. I basically loaded those MP3 files into Nero 7 and burned them as audio CD. When it failed the first time burning, I just thought it was whatever factor that caused the failure, so I tried burning them a second time. The burn process second time actually succeeded, but the end result was the same. There are about 15 songs in the group, but only the second one played. I am not sure if it's possible to have some sort of encryption into those MP3 to make them not writable.

Conversion to WAV files before burning was suggested elsewhere as well, but would there be any loss of audio quality in the process?

No, they have to be converted top wav anyway, before being burned as Audio CD. Going from a compressed format to uncompressed doesn't degrade quality - the loss kicks in when going from uncompressed to compressed.
Or be brave, and try something besides Nero! CD Burner XP Pro?

  7. Do you have the latest Nero 7 update?
I read that the latest fixes the audio CD problem.

  8. I think I found the problem. These MP3 music content are in another language so the audio CD was probably not even done properly. Initially I thought it may be enough just to rename the MP3 filenames to remove non-English characters, but I think they are incorporated into the MP3 file itself. Is there a way around this?
