I have V1.6 with the AC3 plugin. When I create the DVD I have audio. I
am trying to use a motion menu, it appears, but there is no sound on the clip in the menu. The clip is Dolby Digital, 48000 Hz, Stereo 256Kbps. I have the audio compression format at MPEG-1 Audio Layer-2 and have the BGM box checked. What am I doing wrong???????

  2. Your clip is DD AC-3 but you are selecting MPEG-1. Since you have the AC3 plugin, select Dolby Digital AC-3 instead.

I tried again with it set at "Dolby Digital" (there was no option for Dolby Digital AC3) and no dice. It's strange when I author and burn the DVD, the DVD itself plays with audio, but the motion menu clip has no audio.

I have found that motion menu audio doent not work unless the Mpeg file you are using for you motion menu is encoded with either Linear PCM audio or Mpeg-1 audio Layer II.
