I've seen this on someone else's computer once, too. Some videos look just fine, others show up unwatchable in primary colors only. I have a brand new PC with a great quality video card. I've also tried to make sure I have the latest software patches and all that installed.

Does anyone know what might be going on?

If you have the latest drivers for the vga installed ... then it come's down to 2 possibilities .

1: Those that looked like rubbish ... are indeed rubbish .

2: Not all vga update's work as expected by the end user ... you may find you need to install the previous version of the vga driver package to fix the current problem .

Good old day's using the asus v3600 vivo's ... there were about 7 different package's ... used to get rid of white box (macrovision detected during recording of copy protected media) ... and another for xp sp1 that affected all video input device's ... which ms finally released a patch for .

What are you using to view the streaming video? If you don't have it, try VLC Media Player. It has it's own codecs, if that is the problem, and it works well with streaming video. In fact, it will play about anything. And it's freeware.

I found the problem. I just needed a new version of the Windows Media Player.

    Thanks for the responses, guys.
