DVD Burner Freezes When I Try to Copy a DVD

I have a Megastor DVD/CD burner, using Nero software. It seems to work well with CDs, but when I try to copy a DVD (one I made, not copy protected), after creating the image, it gets to about 18% done then freezes. The Used Read Buffer is 100%, the Recorder Buffer level is 11%, and the recorder state is "ready."

Does this sound more like a software or hardware problem? Any thoughts?

Might be your blank DVD's are rubbish - without more details there's no way of knowing

Use ImgBurn and better DVD blanks like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden....and never burn at MAX speed.

ImgBurn worked perfectly! No problem with burner or disks; it was the Nero software. The ImgBurn gave me no problems.
