Just picked up an hdtv so I went and also picked up an hd box from Time Warner (8300HD).
I've heard shaky things about the HDMI for it, so I'm just going component for now. I have a component switch for my dvd player, Xbox(1 & 360) and cable box. Everything's fine until I plug that cable box into the switch and I start getting wavy lines on the tv. It seems like the cable box is letting off a charge. Is there an adapter or anything I can use to prevent this?
