Hi,
My Samsung HD950 player has problems reading files over 2gb.
If I burn an AVI larger than 2GB onto a DVD the player doesnt see the file at all.
There are no problems reading other DVD's or having multiple files smaller than 2gb on a DVD.
I have searched Samsungs website for firmware updates but nothing
Its a bummer as i want to play some HD avi's and theyre all at least 2gb in size.
Any ideas?
Thanks
BD

What makes you think it can play Hi-Def AVIs?
Maybe cut a piece from one of your 2 GB+ Hi-Def AVIs and test. You might be in for a surprise. -
Most players have issues with files over 2gig.
Have you actually played any avi/divx files with this player? All the information I can find indicates that it doesn't support divx. And it definitely does NOT support HD divx.Google is your Friend
