    I was wondering if anybody could direct me to a tutorial that shows adding subtitles in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 or can explain here.

    switchable dvd subtitles? then add it when authoring with for example adobe encore dvd.

    It depends on your intent..
    If it's something that you want hardcoded into the video, then that's easy..
    If you're looking for selectable subtitles on a finished DVD, then Baldrick's suggestion is the correct one.
    Subtitles on DVD's are separate streams that are resident on the .VOB file.

  5. too bad, I would rather look for some freeware than paying for any program, just for subtitles.

    Actually, I want to use subtitles as captions for Photo DVD or in some video where I can't offer voice narrations.
