didnt get any errors, the dvd-r just failed while in the process of burning. and a mini window pops up saying somthing like it fails. and i havent tried other dvd-r brands and other burning tools. i used use nero 6, and its getting problematic lately. is there any recommended buring tools? i dont know the dvd-r brand was using, but the upper surface was blank, more like a mirror.

i dont think it's my media's problem now, it's my writer being installed as the slave problem. i got it back to master now, and it works fine.
