Is it possible that I can burn a dvd video which exceeds the limit. Here's my scenario, the mpeg that i'm gonna use as the movie is 15 minutes over 2 hours. I wanna know if when I burn the dvd video, if it would play the 2 hours and 15 minutes or would it just play the 2 hours. I do not want to shrink it as i know it would reduce the quality whilst doing so. There was once that i had a mpeg at 1 hour and 58 minutes and when i authored it in dvd lab pro, it only came around 3.65 gigabytes. So I wanna know if it's possible because i'm really getting tired trying to cut this down to 2 hours.

  2. Hi-

Of course it will. There is no 2 hour limit for DVDs. As long as the video file size is smaller than the amount the DVDR can hold, you're in business. The size of your DVD isn't determined by the length of the video, but by the bitrate you set.
