    athlon xp2500
    abit nf7
    2x512 geil value

    using the same drives and media
    pioneer 111 to burn
    liteon 832 to scan
    verbatim tyg03 disks

    is there any reason why the kprobe scans are consistently about 20 times better with disks i burn with nero burning rom 6 rather than the newer nero 7?

    yes you read that right the older one is giving better results

    I had alot of Issues when I upgraded to 7, Bad burns on both CD's and DVD's. I decided to downgrade back to 6. No issues at all with 6.

    There have been numerous issues with 7, so it doesn't surprise me at all.

    I am still using 6. No need to upgrade an app that works great.
