  1. I am trying to make a DVD disc using Nero Vision express, I have full 4 GB of files for it, i started to burn it to a disc, but after burning one vob file an error message came out, and the burning couldnt be completed. I was told that the disc could be corrupted, and i should try another disc, but when, i started to do the whole thing again(addin the files) nero shows and tell me, that i have only 3 GB used out of 4.38, when i first tryed to burn it, it showed that i have full 4 GB.

why is this, and does it matter? should i pay attention to this?

What are your source files? VOB, MPG, AVI? Sounds like Nero is re-encoding them. Nero is best suited as a burner only. Depending on what your source is, you will probably benefit from using a different program to convert and author the DVD and then Nero to burn only.

Do you just have the VOB's, or do you also have the VIDEO_TS.IFO and BUP files(if any)? If you hae these other files you can drop the VIDEO_TS folder in IMGBurn and bypass Nero all together. If you still get a bad disc than your problem is with the way the source files were authored.

  7. i tryed to burn again and it had an error again, it says:

Unable to create disc structure: I/O error in DVD engine.
    Burn prosses failed!
An error log file was created that can be very helpful in diagnosing problems. Whould you like to save it?

You're going to have to author the VOB's into a standard VIDEO_TS folder. Use IfoEdit. You can find a guide here. Skip the part that uses VOBEdit. Once you're finished you can burn with Nero or IMGBurn. Keep in mind that your DVD won't have any menus.
