  1. When I extract to MPEG from DVD using both VOB2MPEG and TMPGEnc DVD Author, my *.mpg file's audio gets all screwed up when I search thru the file. It sounds like the sound you get when your TV Tuner is on a channel with snow. (I can't seem to figure it out)

So I am now trying the DVD Decrypter method, I've extraced in IFO mode and I now have 3 files:
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_1 - 0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 - 720x480 (NTSC) - 4~3.M2V
    VTS_01_1.VOB

    and another file:
    VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt

    Which contains the following text:\
    0xA0 - Audio - LPCM / 2ch / 48kHz / 16bit / LBA: 5 / PTS: 00:00:00.257 / Delay: 0ms
    0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 / 720x480 (NTSC) / 4:3 / LBA: 1 / PTS: 00:00:00.257 / Delay: 0ms
So now what, how can I get it into MPEG format ?

I also just tried VideoReDo on the files that DVDDecrypter extracted and got the following screen upon completion:

    Notice 1 Audio Error

    Help Please,
    -BassKozz

    All i would do is:

    - open VideoReDo.
    - Choose "Tools->Quick Stream Fix".
    - For the input stream choose your VTS_01_1.VOB file.
    - For the output, choose a filename AND just make sure you choose "MPEG Program Stream" as your output type.
    - Click Start.

That should sort your issue out.
