does anyone know of a good editing program that imports dvd files that have been ripped from commercial-quality dvds? pinnacle studio has an import function but it doesn't like these types of files. i figure it's just one of its many bugs. but has anyone had success doing this with another program? (i've tried tmpgenc author as well but would like more precise editing capabilities.)

What are you looking to do? Just remove pieces?? mpg2cut2 can load multiple vobs together and you can snip out and save them as one mpg file for later authoring. (I think you can save as a vob but I've always saved in mpg so I can reauthor with any program).
