I authored a dvd slideshow using Vegas 6, Ultimate S and DVDA3, and the playback is showing some weird full blue screen at times, for a few seconds. This blue screen appears only on the projector's output screen, not on the laptop's screen. This laptop is a not-too-old Dell Latitude, and it's running the OEM WinDVD 4 (I think...it's not a recent version).

The two or three places the blue screen is appearing seem to be consistent across multiple playings of the dvd. The slideshow's duration is about 18m, and one of the blue screens happens right out of the gate, on the second image (menu --> Play link --> title image --> image1 --> (BLUE SCREEN) image2 --> image3 --> etc.).

Note this is not the standard Windows BSOD. This is just something weird where the entire projector screen flickers blue, then returns to the correct image.

    Thanks!

It is the same thing you get on a TV when your VCR loses signal. For whatever reason, the signal to the projector is being momentarily lost or altered in a way that causes it to briefly rethink where it is at. Where the fault lies is harder to pin-point. To rule out the disc itself, hook the projector up to a DVD player and try again. If it blues at the same point, it is the disc or authoring. If not, it may be something in the way WinDVD is playing the disc.
