  1. hi,

sorry, if this isn`t the right forum...please re direct me if so!

i have several audio .wav files i want to burn with toast 6. however, i dont want any silence/pauses inbetween the tracks...could someone please suggest how i get this to happen - `cause at the moment im setting the pause option to zero however when i play the cd on my audio player it defaults to a 2 second pause.

if its not possible to do on toast is there another application that can?

    thanks

Since this appears to be a Mac question, it would be better in our Mac Forum. Moving you.

And it would be helpful to fill out your computer details, then we wouldn't have to guess your OS.

What version of Toast are you using? The first track must have a 2-second pause (which is before the track begins so you don't notice it). The other tracks can be set to zero seconds but that only works if you are burning disc-at-once (DAO) instead of track-at-once (TAO). Different versions of Toast have the DAO/TAO setting in different places.

Also, your WAV files can have silence at the start and ending of the track itself. In that case you need to use an audio editing application to trim out those silences. This can be done with CD Spindoctor bundled with Toast.

Create a playlist in iTunes, drop those files into that playlist, modify your burning settings (in iTunes Preferences) to eliminate the pause between tracks, burn the playlist to audio CD. Done.
