I recently switched form a iMac g5 to a iMac with an Intel processor. At the same time, I switched from Toast 7 to Toast 10. I copy DVDs using an external Panasonic recorder because the built-in drive is much slower (even though I use 4X on both burners). Every time I use Toast's Copy tab to copy a DVD-R, the multi-colored disc spins for a bit, Apple's DVD Player re-opens, I have to quit out of the player, and then Toast is ready to copy. In the grand scheme of things, this is not affecting my ability to copy, but it is a pain. Is this a common problem with Toast 10? I only had this problem occur every blue moon with Toast 7 and then I knew it was a DVD that was not going to copy with Toast but instead needed to use MTR, fix bad sectors with MyDVDEdit, and then burn with Toast's data tab. But now this problem occurs constantly. Is there a way to solve this problem? Thanks.

In system preferences,
under CDs & DVD Pref pane,
what is the default setting for
the following:
When A blank DVD is inserted
When a video DVD is inserted
both should either be "launch Toast 10" or set to "ignore"."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."
