Hi all,
First post here, but I've read extensively. You folks seem to know what you are talking about in this area!
I've used the system button twice trick successfully to watch many of the divx encoded files that show with the colour problem (blue skin) on my Philips DVP642 dvd player. Problem is, my kids lost the remote, so we only have the universal left to drive the player, and it doesn't have a system button equivalent. Is there any other alternative to flip the player into this mode? I'm presently processing avi's with virtual dub, but it's a slow, labourious process.
Thanks in advance,
Roger.

If you get a learning remote you can program it from a borrowed 642 remote.
