I had been trying to fix the TV overscan problem with all sorts of video encoder.
I had tried, WinAVI, excellent overscan border addition, but poor video-audio sync if target frame rate is different from source.
I had tried MediaCoder, excellent video-audio sync regardless different frame rate, but tedious manual black border negative cropping per file for batch jobs.
Do I miss out any good encoder which had best of both above mentioned?

"if target frame rate is different from source" Then don't do that.
Of course, TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 would do what you want just fine. Not sure why you're wasting time on that all-in-one junk. WinAVI, for example, is terribler/pathetic software.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

For 2-3 years I have used TMPGENC PLUS 2.5 and EXPRESS, and I had lots of customised templates. Unfortunately, nowadays most files I wish to convert are RMVB, and it is not very easy to convert RMVB files using TMPGENC, unless it had released newer version that can do so??!
