I usually use AutoGK to encode my 4.7 DVDs to DivX. But now I found out AutoGK can't do 7GB DVDs. Does anyone know any other good programs which can DVD to DivX encode 7GB DVDs? What about Dr DivX or oldskool Gordian Knot?

AutoGK shouldn't care if your source is DVD5 or DVD9.

Can I take a guess that the ones that do work are older discs that you have previously backed up to DVD5, and the ones that are now failing are newer DVD9 discs that you wish to backup directly to avi ?

If so, the problem may be that you are aren't ripping them correctly to beat the ArCoSS structure protection, resulting in faulty files for AutoGK to work with.

Correct to the first paragraph. Can you suggest/advice on how to beat ArCoSS?
