    Hi everyone!

I have decided that I want to buy tripod for my camcorder.
Now I am looking to Manfrotto 128RC Micro Fluid head and Manfrotto 058B Triaut legs.
Maybe you can give some advices or pluses and minuses about these items?
After few months I hope that I will upgrade my Sony to Canon XL H1 if that changes something.

If you want to suggest other tripods, then my requrement is that it must be approx. 2m (~ 6.5 feet) high.

Oh and maybe you can name some online shops that sends tripods all over EU?
    Thank you!

Not a plug for them or anything

I feel for you. The quest for the perfect tripod can be just as tuff as chosing a cam (maybe harder)

Now for the threadjack. I too am looking for a good tripod, but specifically a taller version or an adapter for the center post or the head that will let me shoot at say like 8' or more above the floor/ground. (No, it is not what would be considered a natural perspective, but I have my reasons)

Aside from leg extensions, does anyone know of any such devices and what they would be called or where I should be looking for them?

I saw a setup once that I think I would like. I didn't approach the user and now I am kicking myself for not. It looked like he could pan and tilt the cam from the top of the tripod while the cam was a good four or five feet higer. I would guess that the cam controls, ON/OFF, ZOOM and such were electronic, but it looked like the movement was mechanical.

    Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
