I am a neophyte regarding DVD-recorders and need help choosing a recorder. My intended purpose is to record the occassional show from my Time-Warner Cable (Columbus, Ohio) DVR (eg, Charlie Rose interviews, Colbert, HBO's The Wire). I thought this would be simple but from some of the postings in this forum I see that this may not be the case. Any suggestions would be welcome.
