Does any one know of a fix or patch/firmware to allow long file names in the file list view on this player? Peekton 6006. (for avi's). Currently only allows 11 characters.
Thanks in advance.[/b]

I doubt there is one. 8-11 characters is pretty much the standard. I've never seen a patch, for any player, to support long file names.
There are other players, such as the AVEL Lind player, that do support long file names.Google is your Friend -
Long file names are the most common firmware hack around! Both my yamada and dk player both now support long file names, as for the peekton i'm looking for hacks too - cant find cant though. If you do let me know please.

After posting this, there was a firmware update for my Oppo which enabled long file name support. Sorry for the misinformation.
