Not enough information. Do you want to keep them as Divx on the DVD or do you want to convert them to MPEG so the video will play on a regular DVD player? Divx menus are usually from the Divx player. Divx 6 can do custom menus, but the player has to be able to use that format.

If you are converting to MPEG, then just about any authoring program can do that. You encode the Divx files to DVD compliant video and audio and use the authoring program to create the menus. A simple way to do this with limited menus would be to use a program like ConvertXToDVD and drop all the Divx files in there. There is also a freeware version, DivxToDVD that is more limited.

    And welcome to our forums.

Which DVD player do you have?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

Just write them as data files to the CD or DVD and be happy with whatever menu system the player provides. Unless you have a DivX6 certified player, but they are scarce.

Pioneer dv-588a. When multiple files are on one disc the player doesn't provide a menu it will play each file one after the other with no way of selecting a specific file without fast forwarding through the disc.

Then I think your only option is to reencode the DivX movies to DVD specs mpg and author as DVD. Or, live with what the player provides in respect to AVI playback/(lack of) menu system.

I have a small portable DVD-player PDVD-LCD 3051 from Universum (home brand of german department chain Quelle). If you play a data DVD with DivX-movies then it also starts the first movie automatically, but if you push on stop then a player menu is displayed which allows you to select a specific movie.
Popejohn have you tried to find out if you push on stop on your player if such a menu is available?
