When I try to convert rm (real) video files larger than 320x240, e.g. 640x480, the out put has a heavy green tint, with a two 320x240 "frames" in top of video and a 320 x 480 solid green "frame" in the bottom half. The two frames are the original full video image, there is no cropping.

I have no problem with 320x240 files, convert excellently.

I have tried different options, reducing the output size to 320x240, and few other adustments, but nothing works. I have also searched the forum for solutions, to no avail.

I realize my description may be difficult to visualize, as I am most likely not using the proper nomenclature.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    David

to cyanwater; look close at my other original post [ " rm conversion"] there is a link which you have to download from, then paste that into the ffmpegx folder in your applications folder. cant remember what it is called, but someone left a link in the other post

you have to downlaod from realmedea site de "reallib" (link in ffmpegX site install instructions) that have to be in your Librairy/Application support/ffmpegx folder. I have made all installations and, even it's not perfect, i've successely convert many (not .ram, just change the suffix .ram to .rm) .rm files to .avi files witch are better quality, video and audio, and can be edited. good luck

ffmpegX worth the 15$, it works just fine.
