Hello all,
I have a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B, which came as part of my e-machines computer, and its not working.
It was working quite recently, but when I tried to install a very old game from a CD, the installation crashed, and the drive has not been detecting any CDs when they are put in the drive.
It doesn't spin up or anything.
I have tried reloading the driver, but that doesnt seem to be the problem, device manager is saying that the DVD-RAM is working fine...I dont know what's up...? I read that it might be the IDE connectors being loose...Do I have to get it serviced? Or is my DVD-drive comletely broken?
If anyone can offer any advice, Id be grateful.
Thanks
