What does Gspot say about it? Sure it's not a form of WMV? You might try SUPER for conversion. You might be able to play it in VLC Media Player and it can do a conversion, but I don't think WMP can. Maybe Windows Media Encoder.

  3. G-Spots says

    997 mb
    stat Ogg media stream
    type application /x-ogg

Then it's likely ogg audio and Divx 5 video. You might use this: OGG DirectShow Filter / OggDS / OGM Codec and then TMPGEnc may be able to accept it. Or VirtualDub with the same filter added can probably convert it to a 'regular' Divx and MP3 audio. VirtualDub might show you more than one audio stream as ogg audio can have more than one. SUPER may understand and convert it also.

Sounds like an .ogm movie (Ogg Video). SUPER can definitely convert it, but only if it has one audio stream (not sure about the subtitles).
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

You could try VirtualDub Mod with OggDS and it may show you the audio choices. Use full processing on the audio and convert the chosen audio to a WAV audio file. I use ffmpeggui to convert that to AC3 and then you should be able to combine that back in with the video during authoring.
