Hello. I have a little question about the rendering method one should use.
If I use the overlay mixer, in all videos that have a YUV colourspace (YUY2, YV12, etc.) the colours are expanded to 0-255 instead of 16-235, but it doesn't happen with VMR7/9. The question is: for displaying the videos (DVD's, etc) on a PC monitor, what renderer should I choose?
I believe that VMR9 produces the 'right' colours but DVD's are made to be displayed on TV's and not on PC monitors (not sure about that part... but I know they're different).
Any suggestions?
